Originally from the Témiscamingue region, Me Francis Vallières is now part of the tax law team of Cain Lamarre. He will be practicing out of the Rouyn-Noranda office.

This new recruit of great talent strengthens an already well-reputed team. Indeed, Me Vallières joins a growing team of experienced tax specialists.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2010, Me Vallières holds a bachelor of law degree from Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in taxation from HEC Montréal. He heads to Abitibi after having worked for ten years in a major accounting firm.

Passionate about taxation, Me Vallières focuses his practice on tax law for private companies and their shareholders. His expertise in business and corporate reorganization, as well as his versatility in dealing with tax issues, bring to the Cain Lamarre office in Rouyn-Noranda new assets that will benefit business clients in Abitibi.

A privileged advisor to entrepreneurs, Me Vallières coordinates his mandates with the team’s business lawyers and notaries. From now on, synergies can be established to facilitate and accelerate procedures.

Recognized for his communication skills and ease of approach, Me Vallières empowers his clients’ involvement. With a keen business sense and extensive experience in reorganization, transactions and estate planning, he will work closely with the existing tax team, which is set to grow even stronger.

Already well established in the community, Me Vallières is involved in the activities of the Rouyn-Noranda Chamber of Commerce as well as in several events benefiting non-profit organizations, notably as a volunteer for the Osisko en lumières festival and the Fête d’hiver de Rouyn-Noranda.
