Stéphane Gauthier practices in all types of civil, commercial, administrative, and criminal litigation. He has developed particular expertise in complex litigation cases where strategy is key to arguing a successful case. He is aware of and sensitive to the reality of each of his clients and always tries to find practical solutions by taking a strategic and preventive approach, in order to avoid court proceedings. Stéphane advises and represents leading professional orders and self-regulating bodies on such issues as access to the profession, illegal practice, and extraordinary administrative remedies of all types in matters of professional law. He is known for his talent for directing complex proceedings in all types of injunctions and judicial review appeals. His experience with the Quebec Ministry of Justice and his knowledge of the workings of government are of great value to his clients. He is passionate about the agriculture and agrifood industry and devotes a substantial portion of his practice to this field. Naturally, he is the partner in charge of the agriculture and agrifood sector at the firm.
