M^e Roxanne Roy, a lawyer in the Quebec City office, is originally from Abitibi-Témiscamingue and a Essipit Innu First Nation member. She completed a Bachelor of Law degree at Université Laval in 2020. She obtained a certificate following her participation in a summer school on the geopolitics of energy and natural resources: energy transitions. During this training, she attended the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary and participated in the Graduate International Studies Program at Université Laval in 2019. She has a varied professional background that allows her to have a broad perspective on her present work.

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, M^e Roy initially trained in arts, including theatre, film, and visual arts. Driven by a desire to understand the inner mechanism of the society in which we collectively evolve, she undertook studies in law.

M^e Roy's practice focuses on indigenous and constitutional law. She works on files involving indigenous rights and participates to developing impact and benefit agreements. She is also involved in specific and land claim files and negotiating constitutional and administrative agreements.

Positive, caring, and responsive, she is also known for her curiosity and thoroughness at work. She is creative in her research and analysis. Indeed, she does not hesitate to think outside the box to find solutions. She is an avid canoeist and enjoys hikes in her spare time.
