Gina
Doucet

National managing partner Gina Doucet has over 25 years’ experience in business law. She counsels and advises her clients in their business operations and strategic initiatives.

Her clients include small businesses, venture capital firms, and Aboriginal band councils, along with business owners and aspiring business owners in the case of business transfers. Gina draws on her experience, listening skills, and creativity to develop and implement practical, cost-effective solutions for her clients. Her services include helping clients with complex startups and offering them legal, business, and strategic advice in dealing with business and financial partners and with regulatory authorities. She also guides clients through reorganizations, acquisitions, sales, and mergers and the transfer and commercialization of innovation and know-how. She provides support to directors, shareholders, and executives of businesses and organizations and aids with governance issues and succession planning.

Her clients are primarily active in: development and use of energy, natural resources, specifically wind energy, hydroelectricity, forests telecommunications, product distribution, car dealerships, and manufacturing service providers.
