Originally from Lanaudière, M Kevin Coutu obtained a paralegal diploma, which led him to pursue his studies in law at the University of Ottawa where he was able to put his knowledge to good use in the university pro bono program. He then completed his Bar internship in Quebec’s North Shore to join the Cain Lamarre law firm following his admission to the Bar.

Émilie Vanier specializes in labour and employment law, particularly in occupational health and safety law. Member of the Quebec Bar since 2017, she works with passion to serve her clients.
Efficiency, dynamism, creativity and a thirst for learning are the qualities recognized by her clients and colleagues. With a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, she naturally puts to good use the skills she has acquired in legal representation, negotiation and conflict resolution.

M Alexandre Gauthier practices transportation law, particularly road transportation, and focuses on criminal offences in Quebec and elsewhere, permit applications, the obligations of owners, operators and drivers of heavy vehicles, and the representation before criminal and civil courts. He has been entrusted with important mandates in the management of criminal offences before various authorities. Also, he practices administrative law, including access to information and appeals against government decisions.

M Maude Beaudin-Bruyère practises human rights and family law, particularly regarding separation, divorce, filiation, alimony, and child custody. She also practises in litigation, including civil liability, extraordinary remedies, and insurance.
M Beaudin-Bruyère holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Université Laval and has been a Bar member since October 2020. In the winter 2019 session, she won the prize for the best brief, respondent party, in the university course “Tribunal-école : audition en appel” at Université Laval.

A 2019 graduate of the University of Ottawa, M Turgeon is a criminal and penal lawyer in Val-d’Or. During her law studies, she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She also holds a certificate in business administration from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
Recently sworn in, M Turgeon knows the field quite well. Her network continues to grow because she knows how to rely on her qualities: integrity, realism and eloquence.
